I Wanne Be In The Cavalry from Horse Soldier, Horse Soldier by Corb Lund and The Hurtin' Albertans. If you're not yet familiar with this album, I strongly suggest it. It's not "dog died and wife run off with my dad" country music, nor is it modern pop country.
And for those of you who aren't country fans, you might appreciate The Smalls, Corb Lund's former band from the early 90s.
Edit: Added a second video for The Smalls: On The Warpath

Corb Lund sounds too much like those indie rock bands.
Staying on the country scene, Eric Church's 'The Outsiders' album was released today. NPR had been streaming the entire thing since last week so I had already listened to it enough times over. Not impressed. Chief remains his best album. I've always been a Church fan, I'd say he and Justin Moore are likely my favourite modern country artists, so it's going to suck when my GF - who is instead a giant Florida Georgia Line fan. I am not, I hate that auto-tune sounding southern boy band - finds out I don't like the album much. I'll say nothing and hope the problem goes away.

That's a shame about The Outsiders. Chief was a great album, and he's really good live as well.
I hear you on FGL too. Cruise is one of the worst songs I've ever heard.

But it makes me wanna roll my windows down!
I dated a girl a few years ago who loved Justin Beiber, at least I'm slowly moving in the right direction with a girl friend's choice in music.
